Google Play Reaches 15 Billion Downloading

PCAdvisor , a Google
spokesman said in a
statement that his
achievements have
occurred since a few weeks ago.

This amount has
been achieved in
March since Google
changed the name
into Google's Android Market Play Store.

Google Play Store
previously received
four billion
downloads in
January of this year.

Google Play Store
combines the store
for applications,
books and movies,
which can be
downloaded to a
number of Android-
based devices.

SingTel Group Reaches 445 Million

Ltd (SingTel) on
Wednesday
(05/09/2012) says
that the mobile
subscriber base up to
its March 2012
reached 445 million
users, up nearly 11 percent for year ago.

Total mobile
customer base grew
by 273,000
subscribers, or 8.3
percent from a year
earlier to 3.58 million on March 31.

Full year extra in
postpaid segment
reached 171 000
customers, postpaid
subscribers
increased 9.6
percent to 1.95
million. This growth
was driven by
increasing demand
for smartphones and
SIMS data from the
integrated mobile
broadband bundle.

In the prepaid
segment, SingTel's
subscriber base
grew by 102,000
subscribers, or 6.7
percent to 1.63
million, led by
demand for 3G
offerings such as 3G
SIM, data and value
added services
Blackberry.

Through Twitter Support , the
company said this
was done to limit the
downtime and error
page. Not only that,
Twitter provides a
limit to the f
ollowing, API
requests, direct
messages, and
updates.

These new
restrictions do on
Monday
(07/05/2012) and
any tweeps can read
the new policy on
the support section.
For example, direct
message is only
allowed as many as
250 messages.
Updates or tweets
maximum of 1,000
per day. Restrictions
1000 tweets per
hour divided. If per
hour already
exceeds the
threshold then you
can not do the
tweets again until
the next day after
the limitation has
expired.

Another limitation is
the number of
followers who do. A
limited number of
followers is 1,000
users per day.

These restrictions
include an update
from a variety of
media including web,
mobile, phone, and
API. API requests
from various third-
party applications
will be tracked on an hourly API limit.
