Twitter Tweet per hour Limitations do

Grafanda - Twitter is now
providing a limited
number of tweets.
Through Twitter Support , the
company said this
was done to limit the
downtime and error
page. Not only that,
Twitter provides a
limit to the f
ollowing, API
requests, direct
messages, and
updates.

These new
restrictions do on
Monday
(07/05/2012) and
any tweeps can read
the new policy on
the support section.
For example, direct
message is only
allowed as many as
250 messages.
Updates or tweets
maximum of 1,000
per day. Restrictions
1000 tweets per
hour divided. If per
hour already
exceeds the
threshold then you
can not do the
tweets again until
the next day after
the limitation has
expired.

Another limitation is
the number of
followers who do. A
limited number of
followers is 1,000
users per day.

These restrictions
include an update
from a variety of
media including web,
mobile, phone, and
API. API requests
from various third-
party applications
will be tracked on an hourly API limit.
